This poem is a birthday present for my bestie who has been my listening ears for 26 years. I really love this poem because when I wrote this I recall all the years we've been together as best friends, and knowing her is one of the things I want to always celebrate in my life.

On this day, the tapestry of fireworks burns bright
The moon humming in its silent delight
The stars twinkling lively in the night
Celebrating you who always make life feels right
In the passage of time our friendship blooms
For a bond that's weathered countless moons
Twenty-six years, a journey profound
With you, dear friend, happiness knows no bound
You are a dancing aurora in flight
Faintly showing, yet dauntless when fully alight
